Jurassic Quest arrives at the Kentucky Expo Center!

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - As a new coat of snow covers WAVE country, families seeking warmth and a break from sledding decided to visit the Kentucky Exposition Center, where they were transported back to the age of the dinosaurs.

Children and their parents now have the chance to journey millions of years into the past for an exciting blend of education and entertainment.

This is all part of Jurassic Quest, a touring dinosaur exhibition.

According to the organizers, this is the largest and most immersive traveling dinosaur exhibit in the nation. It features a variety of dinosaur species that roamed the Earth over a period of 160 million years.

Attendees on Saturday enjoyed a variety of engaging activities, including fossil excavation, dinosaur rides, and a dinosaur training demonstration that appeared to be especially popular among the crowd.

"That was a blast," Riggs Staton exclaimed. "It was wild! I honestly thought he was going to gobble me up!"

"Dinosaur Trainer Brachio Bryan expressed, 'The expressions on the children's faces when they walk in and encounter these dinosaurs are priceless. Seeing them on television is one thing, but experiencing it in person is an entirely different sensation.'"
