Apple has launched new beta versions today, specifically for two of its platforms. The updates for tvOS 18.3 and HomePod 18.3 include the latest developer beta 3, positioning them ahead of Apple's other platforms in the beta testing phase.

New beta versions are currently accessible exclusively for two Apple platforms.

New betas from Apple were anticipated for this week, but the ones that were released today are just a few of the updates that were expected.

Apple's complete list of updates presently in beta features:

  • iOS 18.3
  • iPadOS 18.3
  • macOS Sequoia 15.3
  • tvOS 18.3
  • watchOS 11.3
  • visionOS 2.3
  • HomePod 18.3

Typically, Apple launches new beta versions across all its platforms simultaneously.

However, it appears that today only tvOS 18.3 and HomePod 18.3 are receiving updates.

This indicates that all other software updates remain at beta 2, whereas Apple’s Home products have progressed to beta 3.

In general, we don't anticipate seeing more than a few additional beta releases prior to the public rollout of Apple's upcoming updates.

In the previous year, the company released just three betas along with a release candidate for its x.3 cycle. This year, we have observed a comparable lack of features in the 2025 x.3 betas. Identifying new features in Apple’s updates has proven to be quite challenging this time.

We'll update you on any changes found in the new releases from today.
