Rockin' Rick (Rick Rider)

We now have a new champion for the title of the #1 smallest town in North Dakota!

I'll elaborate on that shortly.

Keep your eyes wide open while driving through any of North Dakota's 11 tiniest towns, or you might just overlook them altogether.

I often find myself curious about how many individuals are familiar with these lesser-known towns or can pinpoint their locations within the state. Are you up for the challenge?

North Dakota isn't a place for everyone, which is precisely why it boasts so many vast, open landscapes.

However, there's so much beauty if you take the time to look for it.  The Badlands to the Red River Valley and everywhere in between.  These 10 smallest towns in North Dakota are spread out throughout the state.  All of the population estimates come from the North Dakota Demographics.

The irony of these 11 towns lies in the fact that each one boasts a population of 8 residents or fewer.

Most do not have any operating businesses.  Pretty close to ghost towns.  Small town living with maybe a neighbor or two.

What's also interesting about the 11 smallest towns for 2025 in North Dakota, is that we have 4 new entries into the Top 11. Still, little or no procreation is going on in these towns.  Go figure.

So let's get to it.  These are the 11 Smallest Towns in the Roughrider State. Giddy up ya'll.  Let's enjoy some small-town charm, where at least they don't have to suffer through a summer of road construction. Not to mention noisy neighbors, crime is pretty much nonexistent, and you are free to do what you want.  AMEN!
