Players of the Pokemon TCG Pocket have received alerts from two prominent leakers regarding a contentious feature set to be introduced to the free Pokemon card game. Officially known as Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, this mobile title launched on October 30, 2024, and has quickly become a hot topic in the gaming community. It has drawn in millions of players and is reportedly making around $3 million daily, largely due to in-game microtransactions. While many Pokemon enthusiasts have been enjoying this free mobile game, it's clear that certain aspects feel underdeveloped and could benefit from additional content and enhancements.

One aspect that Pokemon TCG Pocket players have longed for is the ability to trade. This much-requested feature is set to be introduced this month, but an exact release date has yet to be announced. Unfortunately, it appears that the feature may not fully meet the expectations of fans.

Two different sources — Centro Leaks and Pyoro — have warned the feature is going to be very limited. More specifically it’s being warned that trading will be limited to diamond and one-star cards. This isn’t too surprising considering the monetization strategy of the game, but this won’t change the fact it’s going to disappoint many if it is true.

Certainly! It's important to approach all of this information with caution. This should not be considered official, and even if the details are correct, they may still evolve over time. As of now, the developers behind the Pokemon game—Creatures Inc, DeNA, and The Pokemon Company—have not provided any comments. Should that situation change, we will promptly revise the article to reflect new developments.
